It all took some getting used to by coroners, but they still made an effort and it was a great experience.

The ambience is very nice on the outside, but unfortunately "modern" inside, uncomfortable on the run. The waiter is very friendly and attentive. The food is okay, but rather unambitious for tourists. The portions are rather small by Baden standards, but it was enough for us.

The boss / waiter was quite annoyed, unfriendly and dismissive, who called across the guest room that the dishes with an extra request cost extra. In addition, "rebooking costs" of € 1.50 were incurred. I ordered the schnitzel, declared as Schwäbisch Hallsches, which ended up being frozen schnitzel on my plate and wanted fried potatoes instead of the french fries as a side dish. For this highly complex change request, I was charged an additional 1.50 €. Judging by the smell, the waiter's clothes have long had to go without a washing machine. Due to the fact that the customers change every day, in my opinion, the waiter doesn’t really care what image his locality is. I will avoid this "pub" because there are worlds better places in a small area.

We were at Gasthof Engel on New Year's Eve. Despite the reservation, we were sitting at the table with other guests at the door. The service was okay so far only the food left a lot to be desired. A vegetable curry was the only vegetarian dish on the New Year's Eve menu. Unfortunately, this food did not suit my taste, but there were no alternatives. I'm pretty sure we won't be visiting this place again.

Great location in the heart of the old city. Mark beach, where the Christmas market is currently taking place. In the traditional setting, the style of the inn, the friendly staff offers friendly delicacies. I was tempted by the fish salad. A mix of two pieces of grilled fish. Luge and salmon with grilled vegetables. Completed with a glass of semi-dry white wine. The dessert is bristle ice cream served with fruit. The whole is an unforgettable experience for the eyes, soul and palate. Toilets on site, affordable prices. And above all, a friendly, fast and efficient service. I would highly recommend.

We often go there for dinner and are always friendly, adults and children. Every time I am excited about the food, the changing seasonal dishes have always been a hit. The portions are perfectly fine in my opinion, at least nothing is thrown away. We also asked if you could provide side dishes, was absolutely no problem. Can I personally recommend only!
